About DermMentor

Meet The Founder

DermMentor is a professional dermatology education platform designed for healthcare professionals who assess, treat, or advise patients on skin conditions.

Founded by Rebecca Thomas, a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Dermatology, DermMentor is built on extensive experience across NHS dermatology services, skin cancer screening, teledermatology, and private clinical practice.

Rebecca holds a BSc (Hons) in Nursing and Medicinal Science and is currently completing an MSc in Clinical Dermatology. Alongside clinical practice, she is actively involved in teaching and mentoring healthcare professionals, and has delivered education in clinical settings, professional events, and medical conferences. She has also published in peer-reviewed medical journals.

DermMentor courses are evidence-based, structured, and clinically practical, designed to support confidence, clinical reasoning, and safe decision-making within professional scope. On completion, learners receive a CPD certificate to support ongoing professional development
